Is Therapy for Me?
Personally, i believe that therapy can be for everyone!
What Therapy Is
Therapy is a process to learn about ourselves, our patterns, and our relationships. It provides a safe space with a highly trained professional to help guide you toward the goals that you identify. Therapy is a conversation where you teach me about you - what has worked for you, what hasn't worked for you, and what your wants, needs, and desires are. Therapy is a space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings and not feel judged. Therapy is a place for you to face some challenges that have been getting in the way of you leading your best life.
What Therapy Isn't
Therapy is not a magic cure-all, me lecturing or giving you advice, or me "fixing" you. In order for therapy to be effective, you have to show up and be willing to do the work. I promise that I will show up and put in the work too. I wish I had all of the answers, but I believe that together we can discover what works best for you, what is not working for you, and work to make some positive changes. I am here to guide you in confronting the areas in life that may be presenting problems and discover unhelpful thought and behavior patterns. If you are ready and willing to work, I will meet you where you are.
